Here is a taste of things to come. This is a short letter that was recently published in Kerrang (K1074, 19/09/05):

LOVE LIKE BLOOD
I was one of the 'little sperms' that Jaz Coleman was referring to in Kerrang a couple of weeks ago, when Killing Joke supported Motley Crue earlier this year. I was born in 1978. That makes me 27 years old. I don't remember Killing Joke the first time round. I was introduced to them about 2 years ago whilst reading Dave Grohl's autobiograghy, and then buying their 2003 album 'Killing Joke' as a result of a Kerrang review. I saw them on that tour in the Birmingham NEC and I was totally blown away. They were absolutely incredible. They completely destroyed Motley crue, who were mediocre at best and beneath all their circus shenanigans were little more than tiresome. If I'd gone home without seeing the Crue I'd have been more than happy. If anything, I think they ruined the evening.

If there was a reason I wasn't bouncing round like a lunatic, it's because I was transfixed as Mr Colemas - dressed in a boiler suit and looking like a lunatic, it's because I was transfixed as Mr Coleman - dressed in a boiler suit and booking like a psychotic corpse - marched and staggered and lurched round the stage like a zombie. With far simpler effects, vastly superior music and almost no interaction with the crowd, Killing Joke were simply overwhelming. I'm glad that now I'm a slightly bigger sperm, I'll get the chance to see them again.

Hello. I am new here, and this is my first blog. I am currently under the influence of caffiene, and in my hyperness I've been inspired by the blog of a friend to do my own. It appears we both share an interest in music, and an overwhelming desire to inflict our opinions upon the world. So this will be the sewage pipe of my diseased and less-than-wholesome soul, through which I will spill the filth concerning the various gigs and albums I waste my money on.

The novelty will probably wear off after I post this and I won't write another thing, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

For those who are interested this is the site that got me excited in the first place:

There's nothing much else to write about now, and my caffiene high is starting to wear off so this might be an ideal opportunity to try getting some proper work done.
